Treat the main story, optional systems and cumulative counters as different kinds of work. Use the checklist below to record what you have completed, then filter to the relevant category when planning a session. A marked box is your own note, not a trophy verified against your PSN account.
The PS5 list in the cited roadmap contains 40 trophies. This checklist uses that platform’s list; the existence of achievements on another platform does not by itself verify an identical grade, description or unlock behavior.
Can you miss the platinum?
PowerPyx’s launch roadmap reports no missable trophies, no difficulty requirement and a single-playthrough route, with post-story exploration available. Those are the guide author’s findings, not a guarantee from this site about every patch or save state. Consult the credited source if your current version behaves differently.
Do not expand “no missable trophies” into “no missable content.” Optional conversations and the stat outcomes of dialogue choices are separate issues. Preserve a useful save when you want to compare a choice or return to a particular scene.
A practical completion order
First: progress through the story
Record story progress and unlocks as they occur. During ordinary battles, learn Stagger and use Resonance when it fits the encounter; cumulative objectives are easier to monitor when you know which actions count. Review the combat explanation if those systems are unclear.
Do not mark a collectible as obtained just because you have visited the corresponding area. Keep the acquisition separate from finding an entrance or accepting a quest.
Next: organize optional tasks by system
After your route opens up, group the remaining work into party substories, Visions, Espers, crafting, cave masters, Colosseum and collection rewards. Filtering the checklist to one category gives you a smaller session plan than scrolling the entire list repeatedly.
Use the game’s own quest state and inventory to verify completion. Where a trophy requires all of a category, acquiring one entry or seeing its menu is not enough. Where it asks for a first unlock or a cumulative total, use the specific requirement rather than assuming it means complete collection.
Last: review the remaining counters and difficult fights
When the rest of your list is short, separate unfinished counters from unfinished encounters. A counter needs the required action repeated; an encounter may need a better setup. The checklist deliberately does not supply invented boss weaknesses or an untested endgame build.
Completion targets and the guide for each one
| Work remaining | Target and route |
|---|---|
| Story | Finish chapters 1–8. |
| Personal quests | Recruit eight characters and complete their substories. |
| Visions | Obtain 26, fully awaken one and maximize mastery for the required eight. |
| Espers | Obtain all nine. |
| Cave Masters | Defeat all fifteen. |
| Legendary Arms | Restore all twelve; the enhanced rematches are separate. |
| Crafting and palace rewards | Track 99 shard locations, reach 89, claim rewards and use eight Adamantite sources. |
| Colosseum | Complete the Fledgling, Brawler and Gladiator leagues. |
| Counters | Monitor the list’s 1,000 Staggers and 400 Resonances. |
| Post-story encounter | Defeat Ultima Weapon. |
Use these as targets, then verify the exact checklist condition. A completed palace hand-in or a found Ancient component may still require claiming or restoring the reward.
How long does platinum take?
PowerPyx estimates 50–60 hours and rates the PS5 trophy difficulty 4/10. These are that author’s roadmap estimates, not a timed run performed by Resonance Atlas. Exploration, dialogue, difficulty and familiarity can change your completion time.
Using the tracker safely
The tracker works without registration. Check off a trophy, filter to Remaining, or search its name. Story and selected encounter details are concealed by default; turn on Reveal spoilers to inspect them.
Use Export progress before moving devices or clearing browser data. Import progress replaces the current local list after confirmation, accepts only the matching backup format, and never uploads the file. You can also print the page. JavaScript is needed for saving and filtering; the requirements remain in the static HTML for reading.
