Left Hand first, then Right Hand, then the main body. The Left Hand can revive its partner. Removing the Right Hand first can therefore force you to repeat work while the reviving target is still alive.
| First-form target | Element to prepare | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Left Hand | Wind | Remove the source that can revive the other hand. |
| Right Hand | Earth | Finish it after the Left Hand. |
| Main body | Light | Defeating the hands is not the same as depleting the body. |
Keep recovery ready while changing targets. A hand disappearing is an opening to reassess the fight, not a reason to leave the rest of the party at critical HP.
The first victory does not finish the encounter
Chaotic Darkness continues into a second form and the All-Out Battle. Prepare your reserve characters before starting the final sequence: unused party members still need workable equipment and Visions.
The second form’s body is weak to Light and immune to Dark. Do not assume a Dark attack useful against an earlier tower enemy remains useful here.
What should you remove in the second form?
Prioritize The Keen of Fury before driving the body toward low health. The encounter reference describes Chaotic Darkness consuming it to heal and strengthen itself. Handle the other added targets according to their own displayed affinities rather than treating Light as a universal weakness for every target.
How does Last Resonance change your party?
Last Resonance delivers its finishing attack and the equipped Vision’s Resonance, then exhausts the acting character and brings in a reserve. Before using it, identify who will provide healing or protection after that swap.
Use the new action when the incoming member and the target’s remaining health make the exchange useful. Spending the only available healer’s finisher without another recovery option can turn an otherwise good damage opportunity into a loss.
Before recording story completion
Continue through the remaining story prompts and ending sequence after the main fight. The trophy roadmap distinguishes story completion from optional cleanup. This article avoids claiming that one finished health bar ends the entire final sequence.
